Hi Vic & Sig, sooo glad you directed us to the website as prob wouldn't have found it til you were back!! Piccies look fab am very jealous of the elephant riding and even more so of those hats you're wearing on your boat trip. Vic you're making me laugh already, we pray for rain - makes it sound like you've been trapped on a desert island for a year, hope you haven't got any car hire adventures planned over there as sticky back syndrome could come back to haunt you!!!! Life in MK is rocking as per normal, still waiting to hear on the job front but will keep you posted. Went down to sunny Sevenoaks on sat to see the wounded soldier, got there eventually after going a bit too far around the M25 - was enjoying the scenery too much! Matt's doing fine, looks really well and we managed to get to the pub for lunch so recovery is under way. However I did have to play mum and cut up his gammon and eggs and the bar lady was running around after him, as you can imagine he was loving it. Also got a tour of the Bevan house of residence, which is like a mini buckingham palace and had a chat with his mum where we decided Matt is a complete gossip - no surprises there then!! Off to the snowdome on sat for tobogganing and then home for the rest of bank holiday with the northern monkey, god help my family. Anyway take care, keep the piccies coming and write again soon. Hello... Lee and i have just enjoyed reading all your emails!! Anybody outside the family must read some of the in disbelief!!! especially with nan's behaviour when it comes to football.. Hi Everyone - thanks again for the messages. We're now in Chang Mai - a 15 hour train journey north of Bangkok. We had a great day today. We went up to the hills and to see the elephants. Sig even got to ride on the elephants head!!!! He was scared but enjoyed it and made our day. We also went rafting on a bamboo raft. This was nice but a bit long and we now look a bit lobster like!! I have about 24 mozzy bites and Sig only has 2!!!! One of which is on his bum!!!!! Ha Ha!!!!! I wonder why they bit him there!! poo!!!! He tells me its because he has such a pert rear which the mozzy's can't resist.

Had a great night last night. It was fantastic!!! We were wallking around the market as a storm was brewing. It got so windy but no rain (we pray for rain!). So we had to shelter from the wind and just so happened to take refuge in a lovley little bar. We ended up staying there till it closed (because of the weather of course). Had lots to drink and still couldn't spend over 15.00 pounds!! We even bought drinks for all at the bar!!! Something we will not be doing again. I met a great girl called Thong who taught me lots of thai and we got on like a house on fire. She was great. Sig made friends with the owner, who was actually American and originally from Texas. A great evening but we did feel a little worse for wear this morning. But what a hangover cure.......a ride on an elephant sure makes you feel so much better!!!

Hope you enjoy your elephant adventure as much as we enjoyed City's best performance of the season last night. Murdered them 1-0!!!!!!!!!!! Had to stop nan shouting 'Sheep Sh*****S' again.
