DAY NINE/TEN

Me J, and Matt got up nice and early, and headed our way down the pier. because we were so tired we all fell asleep but i wish that i hadnt because apparently when the boat was approaching the island it was breath taking! We got off the boat and the water was pristine clear. the sun was beaming and it was ridiculously hot!

J went ahead to try and get our hostel booked for us and me and matt strolled along. the island in itself is quite small, our hostel was on the other side of the island to where our ferry had dropped us off but it was only like a 10 minute walk away. on the way to our hostel we met people that we had met briefly in Krabi, so after we dropped off our stuff, we went back to have a coffee with them. Three of them were moving on to Phuket but Diana decided to stay another night with us which ws pretty cool.

Because we all wanted to see Maya Beach, we went to the pier, and found a really cool guy called Tun who was actually a taxi boat. He took us first to like an inlet, lagoon kinda thing where we all jumped out and swam. it was so cool because even though it was deep you could see right down to the very bottom. after a brief swim we jumped back on to where Tun took us to a good part of the island so we could snorkle. As we were in the water, he threw crisps in so the fish could feed. it was amazing as all the fish swam round you. there were probably about 50 fish swimming around you....incredible!

We then headed to Maya Beach (where the film 'The Beach' was done) however we didnt actually go onto the beach instead we swam to the one right next to it, because you have to pay a stupid amount of money to go on it! Then after collecting some pretty shells we went to the middle of the sea and watched the sun set, whilst drinking a bottle of chang! was imense! probably my favourite boat trip of all time!

Beacause my mum and dad found out, and i wasnt actually going to tell them atall, i actually then went on to get a tattoo done out of bamboo, its really cute and really small. its just on my right hip but my underwear can cover it just about. the place we got it done was highly recommended and once we were there we read all the reviews! so me and matt now have our first tattoos! :)

once have our tattoo, i went to a place called papiya and had some lovely food, where i met nathan form misfits just chilling there! gutted because none of us have a camera!!!!!! i was so star struck was crazy!

After having some lovely spicy food with nathan, me J, Diana and Matt went to the half-moon party which was on the beach. once we arrived there were some fire dancers, who were amazing at first but then they kept getting tricks wrong and dropping the sticks on fire. at one point one dropped on this girl who was sat in the audience! it was so scary!

Then we went home to sleep and arranged to meet Diana at 10 because she was getting a tattoo as well.

SOOOOOOOOOO the next day was very boring because we were travelling from phi phi to phuket and then it took us agers to find our accomodation. but eventually me and Diana got a really nice room which was nice and comfy with a lovely place for food right opposite. so we had a nice meal and then admired our new tattoos and then went to bed!
