DAY THIRTY EIGHT

Today is Caberra's 98th Birthday!!

Bella was at a birthday party so went by quickly grabbed her and off we went to the park where they were holding and event for Canberra's Birthday. When we got there we found a lovely spot on the grass near the front of the stage. Because i hadnt ate, me and Bella went wondering off to buy some food!

Whilst walking around, we met Max and Simon, who showed me the lake right next to the venue! The lake which i cannot remember the name of, is massive. But the best thing about it is you can see all of Canberras land marks if you walk all the way round it! Simon pointed out a clock that the brits had given Canberra, which was nice!!

After a nice walk, we headed back to the place we were sat. All afternoon they had various bands on, some famous The Potbellies and some that were only kind of famous in Australia! one of the bands was making all the children go to the very front and get lollies that they were throwing on the ground. Once they had gone off me and Bella were just innocently looking on the floor for anymore sweets, and the presenters who were some radio presenters or something, decided to interview me.

I was so not feeling it! I knew as soon as i spoke they would talk about the cricket and i dont even care that we won. infact the only people that care are the aussies! But in my 5 minute interview which was shown on the big screen, apparently i was a natural ;)

After getting embaressed, me and Bella walked back to where we sat when these Brits appeared behind me and had a full on pointless conversation! We then all got up and decided it was defo time to go back! I was going to netball with Jodie that night as shes at a club and they needed a spare player so i said ok!
When we were at netball, i was really nervous as i hadnt played in agers and had forgot some of the rules etc. On Jodies team it was called 'FitMums' so everyone apart from me was over 30. We were playing again a team that were all in there 20s.

OH MY GOD, they were so b****y. It was horrible to play with them, the girl i was marking was slagging me off when i was stood right next to her! but i was the bigger person and made sure she knew i heard but ignored it but made sure i would bump into her more then i should! Another one of the players called me a 'pommy b*tch' which i thought was not called for as i hadnt said a single word to any of them!!

But karma is great and we beat them by a lot as well! We went home laughed at the other team and then went to bed!
