So San Diego ...... Bloody chilly compared to what we used to but warming up slowly!!
Finally got to hotel mid pm on thurs absolutely knackered so all we managed to do after little sleep was drag ourselves out for tea!!
Friday we picked up our new vehicle a v nice Chevrolet traverse - the monster bus!!! Did a bit of shopping and headed out to Birch aquarium where we spent a very pleasant couple of hours. Is fab place right on the cliff overlooking the ocean. Then went out to seaport for tea. Basically Bicester village by the sea but with a lot less useful shops!! Fun though.
Yesterday we went to San Diego zoo. Had a long day there but was really good saw pretty much every animal you can imagine and more we have never even heard of!! They had a few babies - a hippo and a 3 day old giraffe who was over 6 feet tall already!!! Very very cute!!
The pandas also one of my favourites they just look so fat and cuddly!!!
The gorillas and orang-utans very entertaining too!!!
Today has been a monster 8 hour session at Legoland California!!!! Was great fun. Loads of rides no queues really for anything and no queue at all to get out - perfect!! The mini land not as good as Windsor and we were v disappointed the star wars miniland not yet open but we had good sneak preview!!!
Watched a very cool 4D clutch powers short film - was ace!!!
Boys absolutely beat tonight so hopefully good nights sleep and that's it for San Diego off inland tomorrow to Palm Springs :-))
