Friday 17th July Got up about half 7 and out of the hostel by 8 to get the bus in rush hour to the Greyhound terminal. Tuesday July 14th Spent the 14th lounging around the Skylodge in Nadi, waiting for our 10pm flight to LA. This flight would cross the International Date Line, sending us back in time a day so that we arrived in LA at 1pm, still on the 14th. This day lasted 43 hours from mine and Jo's perspective. Crazy! So.... we had a pretty early start on the 2nd as we were going to be driving over 400km past Auckland up to the Bay of Islands at the very North of NZ. So after leaving Kiwi Paka at about 9 we then didn't stop until about half past 1 for petrol and lunch in a random place called Warkworth.
