The youngsters headed off at 6.30am this morning for a sunrise canoe trip whilst the olds were booked on a tour of the Maligne Lake departing around 8.30am.
Paul barely slept a wink following a comment from Jill that surely he would have to learn to Eskimo roll prior to being allowed out on the lake, luckily for him this kind of training was not necessary!!!
The trip was out of this world, we canoed across the Pyramid Lake and had breakfast and champagne on a small beach whilst watching the sunrise above the mountains.
We saw an Osprey high in the trees scanning the lake for potential food along with a Loon and it's young chick which swam under and around our canoe.
Potentially the highlight of the trip so far.....can it actually get any better?!?!?
