Day 2: We've arrived in Shannon, the plane ride was full of Irish flight attendants, an actual in flight meal, green upholstery, crying babies and absolutely no sleeping. It was interesting to see both a sunset and sunrise in the same 6 hour flight. Day 1: A long drive to JFK Airport. A long line through ticketing and security. Now we are sitting in the first Irish pub of the trip! However, it's a faux in the terminal in new York. Flight is out at 630. Mistake #1: I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and while I waitited for it I thought it would be a good idea to exchange all of my money to euros before I payed for my buger! Hmm Maybe I should start thinking more.

We woke up a little late today and hit the road as soon as we checked out. We are driving down to Kilarney today, taking a round a bout way around the Dingle peninsula. Stopped off in Tralee, Co. Kerry at The Imperial Hotel for lunch. We will continue on the N21 to Kilarney and then try to secure a B&B for the night
