11.00pm. The journey begins. The talking, planing and training (or lack there of it) is over. As much as reality kicks in, this midnight departure enhances the surreal nature of what lies ahead.

Bhang and Schtoppt Racing is the team name of a group of mates who don't mind getting out on the occasional bike ride. The term has it's origins from the literal context of when things simply go bang and stop. Obviously not taking themselves too seriously, these lycra clad warriors enjoy the leisurely ride as much as the challenge of events like 3 Peaks or Tour Down Under.

The groups philosophy's are based primarily on the enjoyment of Velocipedic Adventure and most importantly the selfpertuated perhaps misguided belief that they are fortunate not to look anything like the 1000's of fair weather, over capitalised, MAMIL's found out and about on any given Sunday.
