Travel Day.

We checked out of Chez Bear.
A Big Thank You (Merci) to Michael for sharing his amazing property, and wealth of local knowledge during our five day adventure in Briancon. A precedent set that will be hard to rival.

Van packed we drove the long/scenic way (due to an avalanche closing the 2hr shorter route) to and Up Alp Duez.

Good news and Bad news..
The good news, despite being an almost three times longer drive, we once again were able to take in and be constantly amazed by the landscape.
The bad news upon arriving at the foot of the Alp Duez climb, we began the drive UP and for the first time we saw a climb before riding it.. headspace games begin.
