Last night we arrived in Arequipa after a very long drive from Nazca. The drive tho was amazing as the road past along the coast and so the scenery was fantastic. However there were many terrifying turns with sheer cliffs at the side.Weather here is still gorgeous-haven't got burnt yet though. It is getting slightly cooler though especially at night as we move from the desert to higher altitude. Haven't got any bad illnesses yet-tummy sometimes feels a bit dodgy ...

It's no good doing this days after as i have such a bad memory i can't remember what i've done. You do so much in a short amount of time. I think today was when we travelled in our bus/lorry down to Paracas where we went on a boat to the Ballestas Islands. It was quite something to see hundreds of sea lions on little shelter coves and millions of birds covering the rocks. I'm just glad I didn't get pooed on, altogether others were less fortunate. It's quite off putting getting stared and wolf-whistle at because of my white skin. The blonde girls get it worse.Also went out for a meal in evening to Miraflores with group. Hi everyone, sorry I haven't written anything in here earlier. Its all been a bit hectic and had no time to get to a computer. Flight from Gat to Atlanta was brill. had spare seats next to me, food was good (+lots of it! chicken for lunch, pizza for tea). When arrived in America had usual queue for immig.+cust.
