Hello from Nha Trang. The sleeper train wasnt was bad as expected, slept reletively well actually. I was in the top bunk of a 4 bunk cabin. Didnt bother getting changed, just slept in my cothes, but had a sheet and a duvet so was quite comfy, the rocking of the train wasnt at all bad and felt ok at 5.30 when we woke up ready to get off. A fella met us at the station and brought us to the hotel, only 5 mins away, so we will walk back. First impressions of Nha Trang are wet... it looks like is hasnt stopped raining for a long time and all the pavements have been dug up so it looks messy and is a bit difficult to walk on. We couldnt check into our room until 10, so we went for a walk and some breakie, had an omlette and french bread - uneventful apart from Claire got charged an extortionant amount for butter! Came back to the hotel, finally got into the room and had a kip and a shower. Walked about 2 miles up the road to a massive White Buddha and a pagoda, it was worth visiting, but doesnt seem to be very much around here. It is a nice seaside town though the some nice places to eat and walk and sit had the weather been better. It hasnt rained all day, but it has been damp and showery. Came back to the room and watched all the guests arrive at a wedding at the hotel, they all arrived about 6, then we went out, just got back now and they have all gone!!
Went out to find the 'same same different' restaurant, but liked the look of one called 'lantern' better - i have fried chicken with lemon sauce and rice and Claire had fried noodles with pork - both were thetasiest dishes we have had so far and cheap enough too. Took a walk back through town and back here as we are tired after our early start. Again, we have breakfast which we were not expecting, so thats from 6-9, we leave tomorrow at 8, so probably wont get online tomorrow and then travelling most of the day to Danang and the Hoi An.
Ill write again when i can, but in the meantime, i miss you all, take care XXX
