Well, I finally have a chance to write in my journal!!! Not that there wasn't time, just that i couldn't find the energy or an internet cafe for that mattter! I arrived in Scotland just over a week ago. We stayed @ the Globetrotters Inn which is a great hostel and very cheap!! Then Sam and I caught a train to Aberfeldy which is two hours north of Scotland. Not much there really just a small country town. Public transport was a pain in the ass, it took as over 2hrs to get about 15 miles, and that included pulling our heavy luggage up a steep but narrow hill, by the time we got to the country club, we didn't look like like the country club type!! Sam and I stayed there until Tuesday by ourselves until everyone else arrived. It was a very pretty place, and was cold, we could see snow on the mountain tops. We went for ventures in the car to Inverness,Stirling, and .. can't really remember.. Inverness was nothing special, Stirling was great because we went to Stirling Castle and saw the William Wallace Monument! We participated in a trivia night on Thursday night and came third (yay) Ben and I are off to celebrate his 20th bday tonight. Ben and I left the cottage today and we caught the train back to Edinburgh, we are staying at the Caledonian Backpackers we are in a 20 bed doorm. Everyone else is in Aberdeen seeing if it is a livable city :)
