Well...we made it to Seattle! We packed up and left home for our long journey, and now we have been using our few days here in Seattle to wrap up any last minute items and stage for our departure to Tokyo.

We also took advantage of our time here by doing a lot of walking and some exploring around this great, great city. It is one of my all time favorites, and I was really excited to share it with Bev. We will be back here in June, so we didn't do it justice now.  We mostly just walked the main downtown area of the city.

We did walk right past Union, where Tony and Traci got engaged (nice place!).  We almost grabbed a bite there, but we opted for a more cost-effective option - happy hour priced beers and appetizers at the Pike Bar and Grill.  And a shout out to Katie...I got Tim's Jalapeno chips.  :) No trip to Seattle is complete without 'em.

Anyway, we are leaving in a few hours for Tokyo.  Let the adventure begin!
