We got up pretty early, grabbed breakfast, and said farewell to Australia. We now fly to Tahiti, and in a fun turn of events, we cross the international date line. We will leave on the 16th and arrive in the evening of the 15th in Tahiti. Next stop - Tahiti and the capital city, Papeete.

We woke up and went for an early morning boat tour of the harbor, courtesy of Bev's foray to the Sydney Park Hyatt our last time in Sydney. We arrived in Australia, and their customs officers came down on me hard for a bulb of garlic that made its way into my bag accidentally. We had so many groceries with us in various bags throughout New Zealand, and I just missed the garlic when we were leaving New Zealand. Oops!
