Happy New Year! Many thanks for the messages and cards we received, it was great to hear from you. We sent replies so hopefully they got through.

Here we are in Christchurch. You can't get any further down under than this. The weather is pretty good with bright sunshine but a cool breeze to remind us of England. We are off on our campervan tour tomorrow and have managed to extend our stay to 25 days. Should be good.

Spending today having a look around the city. It's a really cute place (toytown as betty calls it), very clean and with a river running through it. Looks a lot like Cambridge (from the river anyway).

Will be back after the caravanning. Hope the new year treats everyone well!
