Hello!

We are somewhere new!

Just a quick update!

Last morning in NY - visited our fav cafe (the scene of the chinese incident!) for breakfast and headed to the village to have our photo taken at the exterior of the Friends building and on the steps of Carrie Bradshaw's apartment!

We then headed to Penn Station - next to Madison Square Garden (nearly dying in the wind with our rucksacks!) to get the Megabus, which FYI costs us a dollar each!

The trip was fine, not much to see, except great views of Manhatten as we left and Philly as we arrived. Took a taxi to our hostel as we had heard the area could be rough and had no subway map, or even a guidebook!

The hostel is great, so much better than the last, its more modern, cleaner and has much more going on, tonight and tomorrow night is free beer and movie night and the place has a fully equipped ktichen which is great as we need to curb our spending and our ever growing waistlines!

No idea what Philly is all about - summat to with Independence Day??? (not the Will Smith film!) I guess we we will find out! Think we will sleep well tonight!
