Today has been amazing! I got chucked in at the deep end, still don't have a clue what I'm doing but it was fab! Woke up with 3 more mozzie bites to add to the rest, I was confused about where I was but then I realsied it was my first day in Siem Ream. Two words; crazy and amazing. There are people everywhere you look. I joined Heather and Scampi, her dog, for a walk around to get my bearings, we didn't cover the whole area but I plan to do that tomorrow in a tuk tuk. I knew as soon as I opened my eyes on the morning of the 12th that today would be the most challenging and hardest days that I have ever/will experience in my life (maybe)..excitement and worry at what lay ahead played with my emotions as I was about to go half way around the world on my own, to a place I'd never been before. But today was THE day and there's only so much you can say to yourself to make leaving a bit less emotional...let's just say it didn't work...
