Just on the bus journey north to a town called DeLat after a day trip to the Mekong. After an hour and a half journey to The Mekong we jumped on a boat to Unicorn island, first thing i did was buy a hammock, (120,000d £3.60) as you do, before visiting a bee farm for honey tasting, green tea with honey and all different kinds of honey sweets, then onto a smaller boat down a very narrow stream in boat rush hour in the Mekong, hectic, little rowing boats everywher...

Arrived in Ho Chi Minh on 13th after a whole day of flying, completely shattered by the time we got here, had to wait about an hour to check in to our hostel, PP Guesthouse, so had a stroll around town, found a cafe and sat down for a drink. Was very surprised when flying jn how built up the city actually was, was expecting it to be much smaller! Guest house is very impressive for £8 a night, hot water...fridge...air con...cable TV...big bed, definitely recommen...
