The morning of the 1st of June presented itself well. Bright sunshine, no wind and a balmy 9C at 9am, summer had arrived - overnight. Got as high as 11C.That was until we got into the west fjords area then things went downhill, the sun got somewhat bashful and hid behind clouds and the wind picked up so that over some of the higher mountains along our route it dropped the temperature back to around 2C.
