Today was our first day on the road - we woke up and had a chill out and sort in the morning. Finally all packed up we said goodbye and headed out on the open road. We had decided to drive a large chunk of northland in one go and mop up any sites of interest on the way back. Our first stop was a small camp site in.... Just a little south of russle. Today we were out for a little tour of the city in the morning which we saw a couple of marinas, the harbour bridge and Mt Eden. In the afternoon we went and sorted the bits we needed for camping. This involved a trek around warehouse and Kmart - after a good search we got all the bits we wanted and headed back and packed the car up ready for our journey tomorrow. This evening we watched tv and got an early night! The journey begins in the morning!

Today, now fully enjoying being at home, we spent another day on the sofa, drinking coffee and generally dossing! When Lou got back from work she took us over to the airport to pick our new camping partner - Judy! We all chilling in the evening again watching tv and sleeping on the sofa! Tomorrow we are heading out to get all the bits we need for our first explore to the north!

Today was our first day in Auckland and we spent the day chilling on the sofa and enjoying the comforts of home. We took our car out for a little drive to the shops - tonight we watched some tv and had a few beers! Ah it's good to be in a home again!

Today we got up nice and early again for our flight - like usual it was nice and easy checkin and a short wait for our plane. Once on there we sat and watched some films and other bits and pieces and had a lovely plane meal! Shortly later we arrived in our next country - New Zealand! We were picked up at the airport by my hairy scary godmother Lou! We spent the rest of the day talking about home, what to see in NZ, other bits about the country and watching so...
