WOW, the falls are amazing! There are about 270 in total and they sound and look just fantastic. We are staying in a hostel that is about 12km out side of town, so have been using the buses daily, and the route varies as to what time of day it is... at night, they virtually drop us at the door. Now we have seen what we came to see, we are going to head for another country - for Ben to try Argentinian steak, in, yes, Argentina! Buenos Dias.... xx

Arrived at 5 am, at an out of town bus station... so we walked through the dock area (the armpit) of Rio until we found civilisation. Huge town, 27 deg at 7:30 am.Our bags are heavier than we thought, especially after a 4 km walk to town! Walked along Ipamema and Cococabana beaches and saw the bronzed bodies beautiful. What a lot of poseurs! :o) The quest to transfer our pictures to the UK continues, but we think we have a back up plan. Started on the tourist...

Oh, the island of Ihlabela!! It is as beautiful as its name!! Very hot, but with that it doesn't come without the tropical rainstorms or mosquitos....! We are now on our own after 2 fantastic days with our brilliant hosts Carlinos, Carla and beautiful Bruna. Ben is trying his best with the language and is making his own language up which is a mixture of Italian, English, Spanish, Latin, French and a bit of Portuguese.. but hey, we haven't starved yet, which ...
