We made it back, and are enjoying the lovely city that Cusco is. At the moment, its really vibrant because of the festival of the sun, and everyone is in aparty mood. We are staying in a hostel with a fantastic view of the city. Not quite as cheap here as it was in Bolivia, but we can't be spoiled all the time. Next stop Arequipa to descend in to the worlds largest Canyon.. the colca canyon. xx

AFter not being able to book a trek, we decided to do the cheap option... we took a local bus to Ollytantambo, took the cheap backpackers train from there to Aguas Calientes, stayed in a hostel and then got up at 4 am to climb to Machu Picchu on their winter Solstice to see the sun rise! Excellent. Did loads of walking up the surrounding mountains. Really enjoyed it, but really knackered now! Heading to Cusco for the Festival of the Sun.

Here we are relaxing in Copacabana looking out over Lake Titicaca and it is huge. Copacabana is a great place to stay and dirt cheap! Really relaxing here before heading into Peru. bye for now..

Well, we have now experienced the jungle and the pampas. Awesome! We saw monkies in trees, swam with pink dolphins, walked through swamps, went searching for aligators eyes in the dark. Walked through the jungle learning all about trees and mushrooms, and got bitten by Mossies... but it was all worth it Heading back to La Paz and then on to Lake Titicaca. Ciao xx
