15.09.07 Had a relatively lazy day today. Got up and drove to Sete, a little fishing port along the French Riviera. Very beautiful harbour, a bit like Port Fairy only much bigger. Had a walk around and bought lunch. Came back to our cabin and Matt and Michelle spent the afternoon by the pool. 14.09.07. Just a short drive from La Force to Marseillan Plage today. We are staying in a holiday cabin for the next few nights. Michelle was a bit, to say the least, dubious about these arrangements, but as it turned out she did manage very well. The park was very well equipped and has a fantastic swimming pool. Alex you would love it! We all went to the beach, plage, and dipped our toes in the mediteranean, very cold.

13.09.07. Today we left Clermont Ferrand bound for Carcassone. Had an interesting meal last night, served by a very smelly waiter. It was very rude but we couldn't stop laughing. 14.09.07. Woke up to rain today. This morning we drove back to have a look around Carcassone. This place is amazingly huge. It once supported 2000 people but now has only 150 residents. It was partly constructed by the Romans, but most of that part has been destroyed. It was finished in the 13th Century but restored in the 19th by the same man who restored the Louvre in Paris. It is a lot larger the Mont St Michel and not as magical or mystical. Having trouble...
