Day 3, head into London city via the tube. Take the Hop on Hop off bus after seeing the line for Westminter Abbey. Great tour ending with a visit to St Pauls. Found the Cheshire Cheese pub, wasn't great so headed to the Tipperary Irish Pub for lunch. Rang Jen to make plans for a visit. Managed the tube to Highbury, getting to Jen's at 4pm. Day 2, feeling refreshed, head into town to see the sights. First stop The Tower of London, great visit seeing the armoury and the crown jewels. Next stop Tower Bridge, viewing the cars through the glass floor. Lunch at the Horniman pub, followed by the view from the Shard. Wander through the Borough marketsto get to the Globe Theatre. Another informative tour, then tube home for dinner.

Set off from Ballarat at 9.30am to get the Shuttle Bus. Arrive to Melbourne with plenty of time. Short leg to Perth, 1.5 hour stop over then 17 hours to London. Arrive Thursday morning local time of 5am. Navigate the train into Paddington station, quick change of trains to Bayswater.
