Nha Trang was a very different experience from the previous Vietnam we had visited because it was more of a holiday resort. A holiday resort for thousands of Russians!! It was like heading to the Costa Del Sol with the Brits but at the other side of the world and with Russians! I don't mind Russians but my god they can be a little aggressive at times. It won't hurt to smile ya know!!
We had found a really nice hotel called Thuang Buan, which was in a perfect location, 5 minutes from the beach, not far from the strip and near to some good restaurants. We had movie channels on the tv too so it was really good to have a bit of chill time.
Our first outing was at the Egg mud baths, a spa resort up in the mountains of Nha Trang. The scenery surrounding the resort was beautiful as Nha Trang was surrounded by loads of beautiful, green mountains. Our ticket included mud baths, hydrotherapy showers, rain showers, jacuzzi plus relaxing by the waterfall. The mud baths were amazing. It's the first time I've ever been in one and it did wonders for my skin! Then an afternoon chilling in the jacuzzi was just what we needed!
On the way out, we met a vietnamese guy (name) who we helped with his English reading. He asked us for help pronouncing certain words, ha we left him with a northern accent!! He also told us after talking about travelling, we are very lucky as vietnamese people aren't allowed out of the country and not many have passports - I need to google this to investigate more.
That night we me up with Ash, our lovely southern friend, and went for food. Whilst we was in the restaurant, we told Ash the story about the twelve year old Australian lad who followed Roz around in Hanoi. He wasn't actually twelve, but with his baby face and pony tailed hair he certainly looked it!! Me being really drunk made Roz feel bad and she give him a kiss whilst we was out in Hanoi.. Haha big mistake Roz! He wouldn't leave her alone so we ditched him! Haha.. So here we was laughing at the story that happened nearly 2 weeks earlier miles and miles away and then you'll never guess who walked in!!! Yep... The twelve year old Australian boy!!!!!!! Hahahahaha... The timing couldn't have been better if you'd planned it!! Roz's face dropped! It was hilarious! He didn't recognise in the restaurant but we was certain to bump into him later on haha.
After food we headed to the Why Not? Bar for some drinks and dancing. Ash introduced us to this guy called Flo. Ha.. Now where do I start with Florian! Flo is from Germany & was travelling alone to where ever the wind may take him. At the mo, he is still with us! This post is being wrote on the bus in Cambodia to Siem Reap, the lads took the 'boat' or should I say plank of wood with an engine! Flo absolutely loves his pictures and he will ask any one, any where, any culture to snap the perfect picture of his poses. And just for good measure, he gets them to do about 3 or 4! Ha, he's so funny! To say he loves his pics tho, his camera is pretty crap plus he has no iPhone, so regularly uses Ash as a camera man as his camera is much better. To be fair, Ash has took some amazing pics of us all! Jump shots, sunset shots, action shots! I have loads of good pictures too on my camera, but I can't get them off until Australia!
