Since I was lucky enough to sleep for most of the flight home, (Again, to all of you who pitched in for my iPod, you are LIFESAVERS!) I was worn out, but not sleepy-tired when we got back to the house last night, so I did not get to sleep til about 2 am. Which was all good, because where did I have to be today? I slept til about 10:30, and Kristin had to be at work by noon. (girl, I do not know how you did it.) My Aunt dropped me off in town to meet an old friend Natasha, and we went to lunch. Christiana then came and picked me up and we went swimming. It felt AMAZING! It was not as hot as it was yesterday apparently, but it was still bloody hot. So we relaxed in the pool, ordered some food, (I will give ya three guesses what we had - FRENCH FRIES!) and enjoyed some refillable fountain drinks. It was great relaxing in and by the pool just the two of us. It was another perfect day, just lounging around. I really am lucky to have such great family and friends here in Washington, especially Christiana. So many people loose touch throughout the years, and even though I moved away when we were only in 8th grade, we have remained so close, and I am so thankful for that. Monkey if you are reading this, I LOVE you, and thanks for all you did for me during my short stay in Washington. I miss you already!
Sadly, Christiana had to call it a night early because she has to be at work at 4 tomorrow morning. (I dont know how she does it either). So here I am back at the Lamb's house. (Thank you to Aunt Sherry and Uncle Darren for taxi-ing me around and for letting me stay here!! I will miss you guys.) I have been doing a lot of text messaging and calling people today as I did not have my phone in Europe. That was another cool thing to get back. Kristin got home from work and just passed out, as was expected, I am not quite sure how he lasted through the day.
My flight leaves at about noon tomorrow, and then I will be back in Cali. I was thinking today about how hot it was here, and how expensive it was in Europe, and though to myself, wow, I cannot wait to be California where it cheaper, and where it has cooler temperatures. Then I was like, wait. California does not usually equal cooler and cheaper, but it does now. And I cannot wait to get home to see Rocco, my parents, and my Kball peeps! See ya'll soon!
