Becky Bravo's Adventures
Not too much to report here except that I am safe and sound in an amazing hostel in Warren, Vermont. Just like my previous Hostel, there are not too many other guests (there is only one other than me) therefore, I get my own room again. (in your face expensive hotel rooms!!!) Apparently summer is their off season, people mostly come here to ski. Lucky me.
The owners also cooked this amazing dinner - I had a pesto grilled cheese and a salad with vi****rette dressing. I was lucky they cooked because I meant to stop for dinner on the way here, but just wanted to get here, so I was starving by the time I arrived. Now I did have to pay for dinner, but it was ony 8 bucks, probably about what I would have spent on some gross fast food.
Tomorrow I am heading back down to the Philadelphia area - my friend Hayley from SAS and her bf are kind enough to let me hang with them on Friday night and stay at his parents house so I have an easy drive on Saturday. Perhaps I can sleep in a bit too. First time all trip that I can do that actually. My drive will be a little over 8 hours.
But I cannot begin my drive without first doing what I came to vermont to do - visit Ben and Jerry at their headquarters. I doubt Ben and Jerry will actually be there, but lets face it, I dont actually want to meet them, just their delicious ice cream. They open at 9 am, so hopefully I can catch the first $3 tour, get my free ice cream then hit the road.
I have to return my rental car at 2pm on Saturday, and catch a flight back home at 6pm. This was a wonderful trip, and I am so happy that I was able to hit up all the states I had planned on. And, I did it even cheaper than expected, so hooray!!

Melody What, no driving on deserted roads to get to this hostel? :) I’m sure you are very pleased with your wonderful eastern vacation. I know it was even better than it sounds "on paper".I pray that you have a save, smooth trip home. I know Frisco will be happy to to see you and to hear all about your trip. Luv, ME
