So, hitting up Rhode Island for a couple of hours today put me at 46 states!! I parked near the tourist info center and just started walking around. I found some little cruises that take you around the harbor. You could do a sail boat or a yacht or a ferry. I opted for the yacht because it was so super hot and the yacht had the option to stay inside or be outside. Rhode Island is quite small, but very pretty.

I shopped around for a little bit, ate lunch at Panera Bread, then hit the road for my 6 and a half hour drive to the boondocks of Maine. And so began my frightening adventure.
