Becky Bravo's Adventures
It is blog time once again, and sadly this time I do not have any exotic overseas travel stories for ya, but I did decide to spend my vacation time fufilling an item on my bucket list (no, you are never too young for a bucket list) which is to visit all 50 states. Visiting Pennsylvania (I arrived here early Saturday morning) makes me at 43 states - so only 7 more to go. I plan to hit up six more Newbie states before I have to return home on Sat. And my final state I will have to go to is Oklahoma. Can you believe that? I have no clue when I will get that 50th state, but I gotta at least cross the state line some day so that I can say I have been to all 50!
So - now to the trip at hand. I arrived in PA on Sat. spent all day Sat with my Semester at Sea friend Ally (you will know her from many a pic from my Semester at Sea Blog) she was my next door neighbor on the ship. Sunday we met up with another SAS friend - Hayley and met her boyfriend. We honored National Bowling Week by bowling a few games. And we just caught up on old times. And now that brings me to today - Ally was generous enough to accompany me to Hershey, PA - something I was very excited about. (Hayley joined us too!) I did not realize however just how big Hershey Park was. It is a full-on theme park! There were tons of roller coasters, and even a water park within the theme park. Then of course we went to Chocolate World - got a free tour of how a Hershey Chocolate factory is run and got some free candy as well. It was a great way to experience my 43rd state and to meet up with old friends. I had not seen either of them since Semester at Sea ended, so it was a very eventful reunion.
