Hello from Sydney......

We got to Sydney on the train pretty late in the evening after a looonnngggg train journey....We left Byron at 7.30am and arrived in Sydney about 9.30pm. It actually wasn't too bad a journey though and when we arrived at Home backpackers in Syndey they had messed up our booking so we got a private room for the night....lush.

The next day was our one and only day to explore Sydney......and it rained all day! We ventured out though. To Kings Cross first of all to STA travel to pick up our flight tickets to Santiago. Then we got a train/tube type thing and got to see Sydney Harbour. It was pretty cool although I don't think the drizzle and cloud did much to enhance it. Becky was very disapointed it wasn't white, shiny and gleaming like in Finding Nemo ha! We walked around a bit and found the entrance to the bridge. We walked in to the centre and took some pics of the amazing views. After this we were pretty chilly and had wet feet so decided to head back. To end our day in Sydney we went to a bar for one last game of Keno. It was a sad moment...sad to be leaving Aus and also we didn't win any money!

The next day we were up stupidly early to catch shuttle to airport. very very sad to be leaving Australia and don't feel ready to go yet. Looking forward to Santiago though....bring on the next adventure!
