Oooooooohhhhhhhhhh just got in after a major day of walking around our legs are aching.

Started the day with our free breakfast of toast and jam which fills you right up real money saver thanks chineese box hostel. Then headed out to use the subway unlike the constant rain off yesterday (it rained all day yesterday so we stayed in and watched movies and played cards) the sun was splitting the trees. We payed 4 Yuan to ride the subway (40pence) took us to tian'anmensquare which was nice full of touts and since the sun was out so were the umbrella brigade lol.

Took a walk around the foridden city absolutely gorgeous and massive becks reckons we could have fit Runcorn inside it. Had fun queing to see the thrones the chinneese way (barging through) and Joes bigger than them so not to difficult,

After the forbidden city went for a walk through one of the parks beside it, was nice. Took a walk up to Beihai park and got a ride on a skiff throught the Lotus pond of peace were some random decided he wanted to take tons of pictures of us and he wasnt the last by the end of the day we thought we were famous.

After the park we went up to Houhai and had some food (the toast was wearing off), as Becky put it we had a 'WEE Look around first, and then had some authentic chineese in china. During the meal some man just stands staring at us for about 5 mins and another takes a couple of piuctures before walking on I didnt realise Joe looked so good with his face and fingers covered in prawns.

After eating took a nice walk around the lake and had some drinks as it was getting dark we decided to head back using the landmarks to find the subway, the Park, the imperial palace, the womans Grundies hanging from a tree drying ha ha

Now we are back at the hostel gonna chill and recover for the WALL tomorrow.
