Budapest has been fantastic so far! I arrived hot and sweaty from the train ride from Vienna, and the weather in Budapest has been very humid. I'm staying in a place called Aboriginal Hostel, which is in an apartment building, and run by this nice guy who offers free laundry and internet! I immediately met another Aussie girl called Bec also, and we get along really well; so we've been handing out together and will until she leaves tomorrow night. Yesterday we caught up with a girl I met in NYC who happened to be in Budapest at the same time! It was great to see her. So we all went to one of the Turkish Baths, which was amazing. There are several pools inside and outside of varying temperature. The first one we went into felt like a hot bath, so we moved into a cooler one, which was a lot nicer. It was funny to see old men playing chess whilst in the pool. I was tempted to get a massage, but I'll probably wait until I get back here again. I also found out a girl I used to play in the same tennis team in is in Budapest as well! We will catch up tomorrow, so I'm really looking forward to that. Bec and I plan to rent bikes today, and actually do some sight-seeing!
