Woke up very comfortably after a night in the YHA and awoke to a very blue sky. We packed up and left at 9.30am to head to the south coast and finally make it into Victoria. As we headed furthur south, the weather deteriorated as expected and we again found ourselves at the mercy of Hallas' driving in heavy rain through a national park. We're still alive after our horrinnle night in Canberra. There were times that we thought we wouldn't make it through though. Like when we started singing 'oh happy day' and these strange looking shadows appeared on the side of our tents which freaked us out! Woke up and gave Dunks' her birthday present- handmade Ford Falcon tshirts! Went to Woolworths for some supplies and had weetbix in the car park then got back on the road to head for Jervis Bay. Yep, we got lost again but we headed to a place called Seven mile beach for a picnic in the national park (and some choc cake for dunks!) and a swim in the sea! very cold but lovely!
