after a nice lie in for a change we headed our for a walk up Mt Iron. it took us about an hour to reach the top. it was amazing, panoramic views of Lake Wanaka and the surrounding area. on the evening we went to the highly recommnded Paradiso cinema to watch Walk the Line. we had the best cookies ever and hot chocolate and the film was very good

today we left at 7.30 and headed to Lake Matheson for an hours walk which was very cool, the scenery that included fox glacier was beautiful. it was such a clear day so the refelections on the water were incredible our journey to Wanaka was very long but we stopped a few times for some photo opps along the way. the hotel here is really nice so we are going to stay for 2 nights. beki is gettin her haircut by one of the girls off the bus who happens to be a hairdre...
