Hi Everyone,

Thought id write a little journal as im sat at work with not much to do apart from look at all the lovely firemen! If I hadn't already told you all, im working at the fire brigade at the moment on reception...saving money for the remainder of my trip now.

Ok, so since christmas, we managed to all get together and go to the -5 bar, was a good laugh, was freezing though, apparently it was actually -11 in there when it was our turn to go in! Literally everything is made of ice, including your glass..you had to keep hold of it with both hands otherwise it would slip out and smash. Kev decided that drinking from the glass wasn't actually enough and ate the ice cup aswell.. crazy boy!

We decided to get up early one day and jump on the ferry across to Manly Beach, was lovely over there. Alot nicer than Bondi Beach....We went boogie boarding was good fun cause the waves were so big it carried you for ages!! Was nicely sunbathing when a guy came over some speaker system on the beach to warn us of a thunder storm heading, next thing we know we are totally drenched walking home! Sometimes the weather over here reminds me of being home! Its so unpredictable! I dont know about everyone else, but I thought Australia was just hot all year round.. well it seems not!

New Years Eve was brilliant aswell, me, Bec and Louisa crowded down at the harbour and set up camp down there for about 6 plus hours, we played games, watched the kids fireworks at 9pm (which we all thought was better than the actual fireworks at midnight) took some silly pics, then moved to get a good spot to watch the fireworks at midnight.

As you all know i expect, we lost the cricket.. and I get sooo much stick at work for it. Considering pretending to be a aussie so I don't have to listen to all the ranting anymore!
