Day 1

We took off from Pete's house about 16:30 and dropped the CRV off at Pap's house. My father in law said you've got great freind's. There's none better. I borrowed Douley's ute for a few days and Antonio came and connected our new ove and hot water.

We took off to see Laura's grandmother in Canberra. She was at home and her son found her with a red face and she lost her speech. Then she started to bleed out of her ear. An ambulance was called and she was taken to hospital as she had suffered a stroke.

The doctors told the family to prepare for the worst. Then Laura's 95 year old grandmother woke up and started talking and asked why she was in hospital.

We stopped off at a town on the way to Melbourne for a couple of hours sleep then stopped at Wodonga
