Happy birthday to my dad, John Bridger!
Our first of two sea days is almost at an end. We have eaten and drunk very well today and finished the evening with our second visit to the crown grill. This time, we went with another Australian couple and they were excellent company. I said how much I'd like to live in Australia and they said that, apart from the killer sharks, octopus, jellyfish, spiders, snakes and crocs.....it's wonderful.
Apart from going to the gym, today has been about relaxing. We went to the captains party for platinum members and got loads of free drinks each.
This afternoon, the captain made an announcement which came through into our cabins.. this is unusual and only done if it's important because they don't like disturbing people. It turns out we are headed into a storm and it will be our first rough seas of this cruise. The whole journey, so far, has been pretty much like a lake.
I'm pretty sure that, as I write this, we are just starting to hit the storm...captain predicts three meters of swell/waves..... that's seriously nothing! We had a lot worse in Norway.
We should be out of the system by morning and then glass like conditions are predicted for our arrival into Sydney the day after tomorrow.
Sleep time now!

Gary It's a good job little little and the gang didn't know about the free drinks.
