Wednesday 19 March: Set off for my first leg around the world. First flight leaves for Singapore

Mar 19, 2008 - Leave London Heathrow for Singapore Mar 20, 2008 - Arrive Singapore (pm). Stay the night in a Penthouse Apartment! (don't worry accomodation does get rougher later on...) Mar 22, 2008 - Family arrive in Singapore and we move to Sentosa Island resort. Mar 27, 2008 - Leave Singapore for Hong Kong Mar 29, 2008 - Famiy leaves Hong Kong for England; the solo part of the trip begins. Spend a couple of days in Hong Kong with Guy (cousin) Apr 1, 2008 - Leave Hong Kong for Australia Apr 2, 2008 - Arrive in Cairns, Australia Apr 3, 2008 - Begin 3 day PADI Advanced SCUBA diving course aboard a beautiful boat on the Great Barrier Reef Apr 7, 2008 - 6 days sailing in the gorgeous Whitsunday Islands! Apr 14, 2008 - Brisbane, Australia
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary Apr 16, 2008 - Sydney, Australia Apr 19, 2008 - Melbourne, Australia Apr 24, 2008 - Nadi, Fiji (islands in the Pacific)
1 week of sea and sun and 'fiji time' May 1, 2008 - Mexico City May 3, 2008 - Quito, Ecuador May 5, 2008 - The Galapagos Islands - 2 week project helping conserve the Giant Tortoise population on the island of Isabela. See 'Lonesome George' on the island of San Cristobal May 19, 2008 - Costa Rica: 2 weeks on the Caribbean coast in the town of Cahuita.
Turtle Project: monitoring nesting turtles and helping hatchlings to the ocean! May 26, 2008 - Costa Rica 2: 2 weeks travelling around Costa Rica. See sights such as the Monteverde cloud forest and Arenal Volcano
