Fantastic buffet and country show in Branson this morning. The musicians and singers were very talented and there was a funny comedian as well. Would highly recommend this show to get a flavor of the area (and I'm not even wild about country music!).
The countryside is gorgeous here. Tried to take some pictures of it, but it doesn’t really show you how incredibly beautiful it is. Really every place we’ve been so far has had it’s own charm.
We finally found the Golden Corral. Stopped for "linner." Thanks for the great suggestion, Laurel and Bob. The place was hopping – at 4 pm! Had blueberry pie, German chocolate cake, and Boston cream pie for dessert. Where’s the Alka Seltzer.
There were very few places to stay between here and Tulsa OK, so we decided to stay the night. Bill’s feeling a bit off, now. Maybe it was the sausage gravy and biscuits. naw...

Radio communications. They were pretty funny. We don’t know if they were for real either.

Brudder Branson. All the hype and bad taste (gorilla hanging off the ESB) of Hollowood or Las Vegas, and all in the show me state. Well, show me.I noticed on that Phillips66 sign that gas was selling for $2.49. Last night I filled up the Jeep in Garden Valley Chevron for $3.25/gallon. Cost me $50 for 3/4 of a tank. Now here is my question. How can there be $.75/gal difference between Branson and Garden Valley? It all comes from the same $70/barrel oil. See you have discovered Golden Coral. We have one in Boise and a new one in Nampa. Took Shawn, Jess and Bodie there last month. Bodie loved it, especially the desert bar.
