Jess and Andy had a healthy 8 lb baby boy, at six o'clock this morning (27th). They have called him Robert Llewelyn. Mum and baby are doing well and are home. Hope you are having fun!

Love all the photos, especially the Fattypus which made us giggle!! We love seeing all the places that you're visiting, the blog is brilliant. It's so cold here now, really feels like winter's starting and dark so early now the clocks have gone back. We wish we could swap places with you for a bit!! All is fine here in Sheffield. Just starting my half term tomorrow so looking forward to a week of rest and relaxation. Hopefully speak to you soon xxxx

Allo mateys! Keep practising not being sea-sick and we may even invite you for a day out on the boat next year. On the other hand, if you're not feeling well on board then remember to lean over the side that has the wind from behind you... BTW, I think your photo album is good fun to look through. Cheers, Dot

Hi all you lucky people in the sunshine.
Jane you will be happy to know that you did your slashing and burning in the garden at the best time. I spent all day yeterday in the rain getting on top of mine. Just think, sun, good company, great scenery and no gardening my idea of heaven. The photos look fantastic.. keep them coming.LNS Hazel

Thought I'd catch up with the latest goings on with the retired folk whilst I was preparing for another working week................and was happy to see that it looks like you've been enjoying yourselves. I was concerned you were going to get bored and wouldn't know what to do with your spare time until I read about the BBQ's, relaxing by the pool, leisurely strolls on the beach and wildlife watching! Did you manage to get any pics of the whales or eagles?
All good in Canadia, just had the thanksgiving weekend which involved us doing the roast turkey thing...........25C and sunny over the weekend so couldn't complain. Even managed a bit of a stroll in some provincial parks hour or so north of the city where the autumn colours are fairly impressive................only wildlife we saw were some of the locals, who are definitely some interesting looking folk, just all a bit too closely related if you ask me!
Keep up the hard work
Love from Canadia
