Well, the trip home was bad. Really bad.
But that comes from a girl who hates travelling so I'm not sure how bad it really was.
Three flights, all about 7 hours long, was tough, although we were on Emirates, which was probably the nicest plane I have been on!
We had a stop off in Dubai for 8 hours as well, which sucked. Luckerly I managed to find some sleeping tablets, so, was able to sleep most of the time in Dubai!
We arrived, jetlagged, in Melbourne at 9 in the morning in find that Quantas had not been flying for the last few days - they were up in the air though, and we were on a flight with only 23 other people! Crazy!
It was very weird coming home after such a long time. Almost nothing had changed since I left. Mum and Laura were still in a netball team, Dad as still surfing, My puppy Harley, was still alive ( he's SO old now) my best friend Kate came and saw me at the airport which was really nice, and her hair was probably the biggest change of all in 5 months. She was brunette, and was now blonde.
Although It seems like a lifetime had past since I was away, back in Canberra things were just the same. All the experiences I had were so lifechanging for me and I can't belilve how much I was able to do in such a small amount of time.
I goes to show that travelling and really open your mind, and make you a more 'worldly' person. I hope in the furture I will be able to travel again and creat more amazing memories!
