After a comfortable flight I landed safely at my first stopover point, Buenos Aires.

After a lot of wandering around the airport, and I mean a lot, I found the elusive terminal B and the bus to the city centre. Arriving at the bus station

Checked into a very pleasant hostel, the classic entrance to your room via a balcony type thing, A slightly hazy day of 23 degrees meant that I opted for shorts and a city bike tour. We took in sights and history lessons going back to the colonisation of buenos aires, the formation of the ever popular boca juniors football club and a throw-back to the living museum that is Caminito where the 'fun' side of town used to be!

A brief first day in Buenos Aires was capped off with some time in the hostel bar and planning the trip to El Calafate the following day...
