Okay, so another overnight bus, not much sleep. Spent a couple of hours (4-7am) in the terminal drinking hot chocolate, eating croissants...caught a cab in to town...not going to tar all taxi drivers in Rosario with the same brush....but the thieving b*stard who did the ol´gypsy switch on our moneys when we got a lift to the hostel in the morning can burn in hell. Is Montevideo.....rien ne va plus.....wait, is that right? I think there´s a casino....anyhoo. A new country....arrive on the overnight bus, cream crackered as usual, craving a proper bed....taxi drops us off at the Hotel Nuevo Ideal....nice place, with a big atrium, friendly staff, cable tv and a little balcony....through which all the noise from the street would filter. After Sharan catches a few Z´s, head out to explore, find a nice place that serves chips...

Get a semi-cama, or sleeper coach in to the city from bariloche....21 hours on board, and we have broken our old record from China of 18hrs. Although, with reclining seats, movies, food and leg rests this was not as much of an adventure as that ride. Watched Spiderwick Chronicles, Death Sentence, Gran Torino and other stuff. Food was passable, lots of coffeee but no champagne like i thought we might get....oh well. Bus station in BA is massive, taxi it to a host...

So we bussed it from Chile to Argentina....just like that. 8hrs. Simple. No problems at the border, even for us Brits. Bariloche reminds me of Puerto Varas on a larger scale. No ATM at the bus station so when we get a taxi, the first stop is to get some Arg Pesos. Hostel is nice, small, staff very friendly. Puerto Varas.....10 hrs later on the bus....no problem. They´ve got this bus travel thing down in S America. Watch Bangkok dangerous...again...some House, various other stuff. Arrive late, call the lady to let her know at our next B&B. An easy stroll down the hill when we finally arrive around 10pm....find the place, check in.
