so after the long train journey and a tramp telling me my bag didnt look nice we were finally at Coffs Harbour. we walked for about a hour in the dasrk to get to a hostel. Again nobody was around and it was only 9oclock! once we checked into the the hostel and with the weight of our back packs of we ventured out to find some sort of dinner, literally the only place which was open was Dominos pizza ! we had to check out at 10am so again that long walk back to the next hostel was even worse in 28degrees heat with all our stuff on us. Even though our back packs weigh alot its a really good feeling that everything we have we are carrying. Everything we have can all be packed away within 10minuets. we have thrown away some things which we realise we either dont need or fed up with wearing it.
SO all checked in to the Aussitel we decided to head straight to the beach. the first beach we went to had a jetty so barry without a word jumped straight off of it into the water. the next beach we went to was lovely there was only about ten people on the beach so we sat back and enjoyed the blue water and the huge crashing waves.
the next day it was raining and dull we decided to hire a canoe and row down the river. we werent very good and just mastered the floating side ways down the river but it was fun. while we were on the river we saw a rope swing exactly like you see on films. we managed to get to the edge but the rope wasnt long enough for me to pull whilst rowing to give to barry on the bank. on the way back a massive tree banch fell down a meter away from us. we heard the crunch and looked up to see this big brown branch coming down, both of us screamed and tried to row. it didnt hit us but it was so close.
The next day we went fishing we caught a tiny fish but it was way to small to cook so let it go we chilled out around the pool and planned and booked byron bay which will be are next stop . . .
