we arrived in mexico and checked into our prision like dorm with metal bunk beds and plastic matresses!

The city is getting ready for Halloween and they are settng up a festival in the square in the centre of the city.

We were sat in the park watching the world go by and the police men on their horses when i got caught up in a schools girls project . she came up to us and asked if she could ask me questions in english . so i agreed and her friend appeared with a video camera ! she was telling us how they celebrate halloween , they visit cemertrys dressed up in skeleton type costumes and celebrate their relatives lives. They treat it more like a religious party rather than a excuse to get drunk like we do !

The weather was great 25 degress everyday. we visited the third biggest pyramid in the world with a Alex and Laura the americans and Josh from Australia . we spent the whole day there walking around the mating grasshoper infested fields and looking at the stalls around the site . the pyramids we built in 200AD and we still mostly intacted, we walked to the top of the biggest one 280 steps to the top we are put of breath and nearly blown away by both the wind up there and the views acros the whole site .

When in mexico do as the mexicans do ...

We went out for a mexicain meal which was suprisingly hard to find in Mexico ! then went to a wrestling match equipt with wrestling maks ! Actually i didnt think it would be entertaining at all but Barry conviced me to go ! Actually it was a really good night drinking beer from paper cups and eating candy floss. The wrestling match was ment to be a important one but we didnt have a clue everything was in spanish and we didnt understand a word of it ! It was such a good atmosphere.

Many of nights drinking Tequila and Machitios ! ... good timess !

Mexico was a much bigger place than we ever imagioned, it is a really charming place .. but my good they put chilli on everything including breakfast !
