Hi everyone
first to tell you about our 24 hours coach trip, we was dreading this but it turned out to be a really good trip the coaches are really nice and the seats are like daddy chairs. we got to see brazil as it is and was both shocked to find how big the country is and how much terraine their is. we managed to get a good 10 hour sleep on the coach with the help of sleeping tablets this made the 24 hours a really nice trip.
when we arrived at foz iguazu we set of to find our hostel which was pretty easy with a hand drawn map. we we got to the hostel it was amazing every one was friendly and their was a pool table swimming pool bar even a PS3 with FIFA :) (lynsey wasnt so happy about the fifa) the hostel felt like a hotel to us.
on thursday we went to the brazilian side of the iguazu fall we got to the falls by public bus. we went with some friends we met which was entertaining. when we got of the bus we arrived at the falls and was all blown away at the sheer size of the falls. Lynsey quotes their are over 275 falls with drops of upto 80 meters. as we started to walk along the trail the falls got bigger and bigger and just kept amazing us. we reached the point called devils throat which is a U-shaped, 82-meter-high, 150-meter-wide and 700-meter-long here we got to go to a veiwing platform and got so close the the falls the size of them was out of this world and left all of us speachless (and soking wet).
we then went to a bird park which were next to the falls were we saw tucan, parrots, ostrich, butterflies and some animals which we didnt even know essited. here we got so close to the bird. outside was a small market were be tested are portuguese and haggled for a few items.
we got back to are hostel and had such a nice dinner and chilled out around the swimming pool area with are roomies
next were have planned to go to the argentian side of the falls which we been told are better than the brazil side and are going to spend a few days their.
chow for now
