Bonza!
Sorry just the most random Aussie word I could think of to greet you both! Great new update of Sydney and glad yer all settled into work... Can't believe your going to see the Killers am soooo very jealous! Vic I remember it well singing along to them together on a 'work' roadtrip to the nearest countryside pub where we wouldn't be found ;) Hope they're as good live as they were in the rubbish bin you called a car!
All ok with us, going into hibernation what with the lovely cold and dark winter months kicking in.... Off to the Bourne to see Esther this weekend for lots of food & booze fuelled frolicks as it's my birthday (must be getting old if I'd rather go to Eastbourne than Brighton eh!)
Well my lovelies, happy adventures & look forward to the next postcard!
Lots of Love Cx

Hi Guys! Well firstly well done on both getting jobs! I had a nightmare when i was looking for work. I ended up endlessly pacing the streets and all for 2 days of work! The first was working on a cruise ship check in which at 15 hours turned out to be the longest day I have ever worked in my life! The 2nd was silver service at an event. I had never waitressed before in my life and never did again after that!
Well its just 4 weeks till Phil and I land in Cairns! It doesnt seem real at the moment! I have been doing Phil's head in with my organisation as I am keen to cram as much into 5 weeks as poss. I think I had maybe gone too far when i started putting together an excel spreadsheet! We will be in sydney for about 5 days at the end of our trip. We are splashing out for the last week and have booked the 5 star Rydges World Square hotel where I will be drinking nothing but champagne for 5 days! We will definately have to catch up for a drink at some point. Maybe if you could let me have your mobile number?
Anyway, have fun and will seen you soon!
Kaz
Clearly I have!

Its the first time the internet has let me on the message board for ages. But am disappointed to not find more blogs from you or messages from other people. Glad Helen mentioned pampering me- I thought that might have been an empty promise! Hee
Life dull here. Had half term which was two full days of Teach First followed bu 5 full days of drinking! Durham Old Boys was really fun and I had forgotton how much I missed Klute!
Glad you both managed to get jobs. Hope they go well and you earn enough money to buy and post me a birthdya and christmas present. Tell me your new address so I can post you something!
Miss you lots xxx

Hi babes.
Very dissapointed that nobody messages here anymore. Facebooks ok but this seems more personal...or am I just a stick in the mud?
Nice roast beef dinner (before you ask), followed by rhubarb crumble and clotted cream, washed down with several glasses of Don Darias!
The clocks went back today so back to dark evenings by 4.30, constant bangs from fireworks, pumpkins in the supermarkets and DFS advertising half price sofas delivered in time for Christmas... Winter in England eh!
Trying to sort out the advertising for the new business venture, get it right and who knows..this time next year I could be a millionaire!!!
I hope all goes well on the job front. Keep in touch, blog lots, facebook less! Lots of love to you both XXXXXXXX
Ceri & Jenna
G'day you Pomms!
How's life treating you out in Oz? All good I hope..
Got your postcard today from NZ, obviously took forever to get here but thank you so much, it has been added to the fridge collection!
We have finally found a new place to live, still on the sea front but in Hove... and also as big as where we are now, so lotsa room for guests, hint! ;)
Anyhoo when are you back? We're all missing you lots, thought you were back just after Xmas but am I reading right it may be APRIL???
Anyhoo, awaiting the next instalment... Love & hugs to you both,
C & J xxx

Here we are... as promised my next installment of my exciting life!!
I am very jealous of your trip to Ramsay Street... did they not ask you to appear in the background at Lassiters?! It sounds like you had a fab time! So many new experiences and adventures!
Life here is ticking along! As you know I am not working at the moment and have started new medication which makes me feel very sick so hoping that will settle down soon! The worst thing is that I am not allowed to drink on it... although I did clarify that the odd glass of wine would be ok but no binge drinking!! As if I would!!
So we have been spending the time getting the house sorted! John has taken a couple of days off this week as furniture has been arriving, pictures going up and a general sort out! It's been very satisfying! Can't wait to have it finished as I have promised Katherine we will have to stay and pamper her!! .....Aunty Pat you're welcome too!! We'll get a date in the diary for wine, food, laughter and more wine!!
Took Nan out to lunch with Alli and the kids on Tuesday, went to Dublin for Emily's 30th at the weekend and surprised Dad (who was looking after George in Newbridge) on Sunday for his birthday!! He had no idea John and I were in Ireland too! I'm off there next weekend minus John for George's first birthday!! Mum, Dad, Alli and Chloe coming too!
So that's it really.... hoping to have our conservatory built by Christmas as I've invited the in-laws for Christmas... I'm a bit nervous!!
So have you found a job? Sounds like you had a fab time in NZ with Aunty Pat and Gill!
Hope you and Tom are keeping well....when do we get to see you again? Is it April?
Lots and lots of love,
Helen and John

Great photos! You are so good to keep up to date with all your blogs and photos - I think you will find it funny to read it all once you are back in UK and in "normal" life again! So once you left alcoholic NZ, you decided to stay above a pub that gives you a discount off food AND booze - and here I was thinking you were on an eduational year off ;o)
Hope Oz is treating you well and that you are finding work ok. I'm sure that the pub will prob offer you something if you ask - no comute to work (but hard to bluff a sicky too I suppose!!)
