Paris was lovely, very very cold and John made me walk everywhere but really wonderful! He also got me a deluxe spa day which I'm looking forward to having in the New Year with Helen Morley, as her husband Matt got her one too!! Methinks there was some conspiracy there between John and Matt!

Life is great at the moment, medication is workng wonders! Started back at the gym with a personal trainer and the dreaded Weight Watchers! I even had a new haircut and got new clothes to reinvent myself after a horrible year!! So things are really looking up!

Your apartment looks gorgeous and I'm so pleased you are settled now with jobs etc.

Hello!! I didn't realise it was your birthday missy!!! So belated happy birthday!! I must say I do so enjoy reading your blogs - your sense of humour has me laughing our loud as it is exactly the same as my brothers. I love the comments about watching the kangaroo's standing up and the hiding the koala in the rucksack - I can picture you doing that too and trying to escape with it in your bag, only to be foiled just as you are leaving as you realise it's paw is haning unceremoniously out of the zipper! Sounds like you are having a great time though. Tom you are a good man spoiling Vic on her birthday - many brownie points I am sure!! Must say I love the appartment. When I was in Oz at 19, the only place we had (with Helen Morley) was a 3 bedroom tiled floor house that we had to decorate literally by finding sofas/matresses from the side of the street - didn't do my Surry status any good I can tell you ;o) Also had to share it with 4 other boys!! Oh the good time eh! Only when we found a mama red back spider and web, with literally hundreds of baby red backs did we questions our sanity... well that was until the next morning when we torched the buggars with a lighter and deoderant spray - ever the inventors!! Off to Blackpool tomorrow evening. Staying in Birmingham (Travelodge familyroom... £29...bargain) overnight, as meeting up with some people we met in Egypt and it will break up the driving.

Hey you two.

I know I have not written on here for ages. SORRY! It is not like we have not been in touch tho.

Just wanted to be the very first to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to VICTORIA. Obviously it is only the 19th here but by the time you read this it will be TUESDAY, 20TH NOVEMBER. I love you so much and sure Tom will give you a birthday to remember! First birthday in 27 years that I have not been with my first born!

Life busy here as you know. Pouring with rain too. Yuk. Lovely to see Charlotte, Beth and Ben on Saturday and also to spend a great day with Ali, Pascal and family on Sunday. Family so special. Anyway, keep working hard and enjoying yourselves too. A blog about the Australian work ethic would be good? Loads of love x

hey hey!! sorry havent written in ages have been very busy with this whole working malarky!! How are your jobs going?? Are you liking your new flat? My cousin on the other side of the family is off to aus in a couple of weeks travelling - not sure wheres shes starting off though will have to find out!!
