Departed at 720am with Tom and Eb to drive to Adelaide. Jo remained to work and will join us in Adelaide on Friday
It was very cold at 3C and foggy. Soon the fog lifted to a clear day.
As usual, we stopped at Horsham 'maccas' and then at the Keith bakery and 'train' park. The boys only had a few rides on the train, unlike years past when they'd spend ages riding the train. After a few kicks of the footy on the nearby oval we left for Tailem Bend, heading for the black train.
Arrived at the Oaks apt on North Tce at 530 EST.
The trip was easy with fine weather all the way. I'm sure the boys enjoyed it.
The terrain between Bordertown and Tailem Bend was green with instances of surface water. I've never seen it like that.
The boys did some exercise before dinner - Tom went for a run to Colonel Light statue and Eb went to the gym here.
For dinner, we walked to East Rundle St to the Piatto Italian restaurant.
Returned to apartment by about 10pm, all very tired.
A good day.
