Hello! This is just a quick post-card as we're in a bit of a rush! We're off to the beach to eat in a minute and we're going to go see a castle on a hill or something before our ship leaves. I would say we've had a fantastic time on our cruise but we haven't exactly spent much time on it! After boarding in on the Monday 1st in Barcelona, we set sail at 6pm and started to settle in before we had dinner at 7pm. The dining room we ate at (there are lots) was huuuuge and the food was lovely! After eating we suddenly realised that we were a case short...Ben had left my little suitcase with all my jewellery in it back in the hotel in Barcelona! So as soon as the boat docked the following morning in Alicante we jumped off, hired a car (at great expense) and drove the entire south and east coast of Spain (1,000 miles)!!! We finally arrived in Malaga to re-join the ship in the early hours of this morning. It's always an adventure with us! So, can't really tell you what Alicante is like although the train station where we got the hire car seemed nice and clean! The ship is absolutely huuuge! We played basketball on the deck after our meal the first night and watched some people win rediculous amounts of money in the casino. Well, time to feed my tummy now! Bye bye everybody! Hopefully I can write more in Lisbon! Byeeee! :o)
